Audio and video recordings are very useful materials for the EFL classroom. Today, the Internet and computers give teachers new tools that can be used to exploit audio and video materials beyond passive watching. Video enhances learners’ attention and motivation. Teenagers are very good at understanding and absorbing video narratives, as it is one of their favorite out-of- school activities. Modern technologies can be used to make video an even more integral part of our teaching practice. Video narratives are inspiring, motivational and methodologically tried and tested.
