The book deals with a subject little considered by historians contemporary: the "African" politics of Republican Italy. In the first decades after World War II, before the new protagonism of the black continent on the international scene, Italy is at the center of a new political culture, which, between idealism and pragmatism, makes Africa one of the priorities of the national foreign policy, in the common pursuit of a "partnership" decisive in building a world equilibrium.

Abstract
The book deals with a subject little considered by historians contemporary: the "African" politics of Republican Italy. In the first decades after World War II, before the new protagonism of the black continent on the international scene, Italy is at the center of a new political culture, which, between idealism and pragmatism, makes Africa one of the priorities of the national foreign policy, in the common pursuit of a "partnership" decisive in building a world equilibrium.File in questo prodotto:
