The contribution proposes a reflection on the aging process, with particular reference to the importance assumed by the active involvement of older people in family relationships. We present preliminary results of a survey conducted in two provinces of northern Italy on a sample of active seniors to verify stress’s and adaptive factors that affect in a more consistent levels well-being and quality of life. Respondents express very high levels of personal satisfaction and is found a partial but positive contribution of involvement in family work to promoting the elderly’s quality of life.

Abstract
