The effect of these two ghrelin-related peptides on progesterone (P4), prostaglandin (PG) F(2α), PGE(2), and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) release and on VEGF expression in isolated human steroidogenic cells has been investigated.

Abstract

To evaluate whether unacylated ghrelin and obestatin were able to influence human luteal cell function.
