Through a randomized between-subjects experimental design, this research idea aims to compare the effectiveness of two kinds of Green Training programs. A first one aimed at generally raising awareness on environmental issues by leveraging employee emotional involvement, and a second one aimed at providing employees with specific instructions on green initiatives and behaviors at work. Drawing on Self Determination Theory, the research idea compares the role of these two kinds of Green Training programs, the most investigated ones within the bundle of Green Human Resource Management, in driving employee cognitive green crafting (i.e., the first step of the job crafting process). Additionally, drawing on Social Cognitive Theory, the role of employee green self-efficacy is also examined.

Abstract
Through a randomized between-subjects experimental design, this research idea aims to compare the effectiveness of two kinds of Green Training programs. A first one aimed at generally raising awareness on environmental issues by leveraging employee emotional involvement, and a second one aimed at providing employees with specific instructions on green initiatives and behaviors at work. Drawing on Self Determination Theory, the research idea compares the role of these two kinds of Green Training programs, the most investigated ones within the bundle of Green Human Resource Management, in driving employee cognitive green crafting (i.e., the first step of the job crafting process). Additionally, drawing on Social Cognitive Theory, the role of employee green self-efficacy is also examined.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
