This paper aims to examine whether the organizational redesign opportunities currently offered by technological innovation contribute to rebuilding the worker-HR department relationship, albeit according to new accepted principles and in a diverse context characterized by the predominance of the virtual dimension. In particular, the aim of our article is to verify whether the adoption of e-HRM practices, rendering personnel management policy criteria more transparent, increases the fairness perceived by workers and thus helps to increase their trust in the actions of the HR department.

Abstract

This paper aims to examine whether the organizational redesign opportunities currently offered by technological innovation contribute to rebuilding the worker-HR department relationship, albeit according to new accepted principles and in a diverse context characterized by the predominance of the virtual dimension.
