The article analyzes the data on Information & Communication Technologies (Ict) provided in the 2017, 2020 and 2022 Reports of the International Center for Family Studies (CISF). The analysis (1) of trends regarding the pleasure/obligation index in the use of digital media, (2) of the heteronomy index and (3) of the typologies of people marginalized, feeling obliged, hybridized, over the six years and also marked by the pandemic Covid-19, highlights the trend in the relationship between Italian families and technology. This index is almost always characterized by the prevailing relevance of pleasure towards digital media, very often accompanied by a perception of obligation. One can therefore speak of “hybridized families”. In the second section of the article, having noted similar results in the Censis Report 2023 on digital life, the historical evolution has been re-positioned from the perspective of media communication studies.

Abstract
In the second section of the article, having noted similar results in the Censis Report 2023 on digital life, the historical evolution has been re-positioned from the perspective of media communication studies.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
