Purpose: The study aims to investigate whether and how digital transformation affects hybrid work. Design/methodology/approach: The research hypotheses derived from the analysis of the literature. The effect of technology on organizations and hybrid work were investigated by applying extensive data analysis on data retrieved from a sample of Italian HR manager through an online survey. Preliminary findings: The main findings suggest that Originality/value: The results enrich the existing literature on e-HRM, adding the perspective of STS on e-HRM literature and demonstrating how the STS framework can help profoundly understand the operational, relational, and transactional effects of e-HRM.
