Socratic dialogue is an archetype of educational method, due to its non-conventional and revolutionary principle of leading people to discover the truth by themselves. Contemporary philosophy and psychology confirm many of the anthropological assumptions of the ancient philosopher, indicating dialogic process as a main way in helping people to search for meaning and to find answers to their existential questions. These intuitions works not only for counseling and psychotherapy, but suggest deep changes in education and curriculum too.
