Construction projects in healthcare offer a prototypical context to investigate the complex dynamics that drive innovation creation and exchange in a networked and multi-actor system of value creation. This chapter specifically identifies and reconstructs the actors involved in the renewal project of the Vimercate hospital and how they negotiated and synergistically combined their roles along the development phases of the project. In terms of contribution, the chapter will highlight how innovation has been generated thanks to the inclusion of different actors, who brought to the project heterogeneous competences and focal concerns.

Abstract
Construction projects in healthcare offer a prototypical context to investigate the complex dynamics that drive innovation creation and exchange in a networked and multi-actor system of value creation. This chapter specifically identifies and reconstructs the actors involved in the renewal project of the Vimercate hospital and how they negotiated and synergistically combined their roles along the development phases of the project. In terms of contribution, the chapter will highlight how innovation has been generated thanks to the inclusion of different actors, who brought to the project heterogeneous competences and focal concerns.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
