The education and the attention of Giovanni Battista Montini, Pope Paul VI, towards Western monasticism are presented, with particular regard to the reform provisions of the Second Vatican Council. His presence in the Chiari monastery and his interest in bringing the Olivetan monks back to the Rodengo abbey is also investigated.
Si presentano la formazione e l'attenzione di Giovanni Battista Montini, papa Paolo VI, verso il monachesimo occidentale con particolare riguardo ai provvedimenti di riforma del Concilio Vaticano II. Viene altresì indagata la sua presenza nel monastero di Chiari e il suo interessamento per fare rientrare i monaci olivetani nella abbazia di Rodengo.
