Il viaggio adulto come esperienza trasformativa. Viaggiamo per trasformarci e per trasformare il mondo

Every man naturally lives the life in tension with the reality that surrounds him and the deep desire to open to the world. From a theoretical point of view the trip is a metaphor, and it is as articulated on symmetrical categories to those of training, but also because it is an archetype of training as it has been drafted in the West through the narration of the journey of Ulysses, the tale of Pinocchio and the biblical story of Abraham. On the other hand the journey interrogates each of us so that through the testimonies of anyone can declare the valence educational travel experiences lived, we are invited to reflect, following the red wire of the reflection on the importance of the narrative as a training tool on the opening to the encounter with the other in an intercultural exchange and finally on the possibility of a true knowledge of themselves and of the world. The journey adult is therefore equally transformative metaphor and existential.

Ogni uomo naturalmente vive la vita in tensione con la realtà che lo circon- da e il desiderio profondo di aprirsi al mondo. Dal punto di vista teorico, il viaggio è metafora, e lo è in quanto articolato su categorie simmetriche a quelle della formazione, ma lo è anche perché è un archetipo della for- mazione così come è stata elaborata in Occidente attraverso la narrazio- ne del viaggio di Ulisse, la aba di Pinocchio e il racconto biblico di Abra- mo. D’altra parte il viaggio interroga ognuno di noi, così che attraverso le testimonianze di chiunque possa dichiarare la valenza pedagogica delle esperienze di viaggio vissute: siamo invitati a sostare, seguendo il lo rosso della ri essione, sull’importanza della narrazione come strumento di for- mazione, sull’apertura all’incontro con l’altro in uno scambio interculturale e in ne sulla possibilità di una vera conoscenza di sé e del mondo. Il viaggio adulto è dunque metafora trasformativa ed esistenziale.
