The aim of the symposium is to examine changes in relationship quality and functioning in different relationship types as a function of individual and relational factors characterizing such relationships. In particular, the contributions of this symposium would investigate romantic relationships in emerging adulthood (dating couples in their twenties as well as after graduation of one partner), in adulthood (after marriage or childbirth) and in interracial couples.
