The article focuses on different disciplinary paths of integration among media studies and urban studies, identifying the main thematic areas where such an integration appears particularly urgent. The potentialities of the encounter among media and urban studies are exemplified drawing on a research on the processes affecting 10 among the main Italian cities.
L'articolo ricostruisce le differenti traiettorie disciplinari di incontro tra media stuidies e urban studies, segnalando le principali aree tematiche in cui tale integrazione appare particolarmente urgente. Le potenzialità di tale incontro sono esemplificate a partire da una ricerca sui processi sociali che interessano dieci tra le principali città italiane.
