Primary monosymptomatic nocturnal enuresis is a common complaint in paediatrics. Treatment with desmopressin nasal spray is one of the most often used pharmacological approaches, but concerning therapy interruption, to date no guidelines have yet been established. The aim of this study was to report the use of desmopressin in two monozygotic twin sisters to establish if tolerability and efficacy of treatment can be affected by different modalities of therapy interruption.

Abstract
Primary monosymptomatic nocturnal enuresis is a common complaint in paediatrics. Treatment with desmopressin nasal spray is one of the most often used pharmacological approaches, but concerning therapy interruption, to date no guidelines have yet been established. The aim of this study was to report the use of desmopressin in two monozygotic twin sisters to establish if tolerability and efficacy of treatment can be affected by different modalities of therapy interruption.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
