Growing competitive pressure, increasing demanding clients and financial instability force Cultural organizations to look for innovative management tools to remain successful in the market. Experiential approach and/or experiential marketing seem to be the answer to new challenges. This paper explores how experiential marketing is used by cultural organizations to retain and develop their audience base. Experiential methods and tools used by these organizations are observed through the case history approach of a best practice, as well as through the internet sites observation of 20 organizations in the cultural domain. And the paper will offer a picture of the experiential positioning per cultural organizations in the analyzed sectors. Comparisons within each sector and intra-sectors will provide evolutionary cues.
In un contesto caratterizzato da instabilità economico finanziaria e da pressioni competitive crescenti le aziende di cultura cercano metodi e strumenti innovativi per la gestione del rapporto con il proprio mercato. L approccio esperienziale rappresenta un valido strumento di risposta alle nuove sfide. Obiettivo del paper è verificare come le imprese di cultura utilizzano il marketing esperienziale allo scopo di gestire e sviluppare i propri pubblici. La ricerca è effettuata attraverso la osservazione di modalità e strumenti esperienziali utilizzati da imprese di cultura. L osservazione attraverso case-hystory e attraverso l analisi di siti web di 20 aziende/organizzazioni della cultura consente di fotografare l utilizzo della esperienza e del marketing esperienziale nei settori indagati e di fornire spunti evolutivi.
