The essay deals with the Jungian shadow dimension that characterizes every human being. Some dark sides of one's inner life are linked to the experience lived as a child, others come from living in collective shadows that threaten the present. Being aware of their presence and grasping their meaning, can save you from the tyranny of their power, especially for those who commit themselves to education, in order to make those dark areas generative for themselves and for others.
Il saggio affronta la dimensione junghiana dell’ombra da cui ognuno è imprescindibilmente caratterizzato. Lati oscuri della propria interiorità sono legati al passato di figlio, altre derivano dal vivere in ombre collettive che minacciano l’attualità. Scorgerne la presenza e coglierne il senso può sottrarre alla tirannia del loro potere, soprattutto per chi si dedica all’educare, per rendere quelle zone buie generative per sé e per gli altri.
