Introduzione. Metafisica: il mondo e il divino.

In presenting the classic themes of Metaphysics in a way that considers the variety of the historical approaches and the different possibilities of understanding it, it is necessary to accept the implicit theoretical plurality of perspectives. This means that more than one form of presentation is possible. In this line, it has been necessary to calibrate again the constitutive ideas of the special metaphysics, i.e. God and the world in a kind of formulation that first of all takes in account their relation and their development. For this reason, it is important to think back to the recurrent polarity of the forms, in which, in the history of philosophy, the divine and the world – this latter in the Greek characterization of cosmos, of order – have been interpreted. In this way, to outline God and world as a metaphysical question is also the proposal of a “metaphysics” considered in its minimal aspect as necessary, even if not sufficient, condition in order to talk about its specific dimension.

Proporre i temi classici della metafisica in una forma che tenga conto della molteplicità degli approcci storici e dei diversi modi di intendere la metafisica comporta l’accettazione di un’implicita varietà teoretica, il che rende plausibile più di una soluzione espositiva. In questa direzione si è voluto ricalibrare le due idee classiche costitutive della metafisica speciale, ossia Dio e mondo, in una formulazione che tenesse innanzitutto conto della loro relazione e del loro sviluppo. Per questo motivo si è inteso ripercorrere in primo luogo la polarità ricorrente delle forme in cui nel corso della storia della filosofia sono stati interpretati il divino e il mondo, quest’ultimo considerato nella sua peculiarità greca di cosmo, di ordine. Si è così ritenuto che delineare Dio e mondo all’interno di una domanda metafisica volesse dire anche proporre una “metafisica” considerata nel suo aspetto minimale, nel senso di condizione necessaria, sebbene non ancora sufficiente, affinché si potesse parlare della sua dimensione specifica.
