The paper explores the topic of evaluation in the school context by focusing on the relationship between the evaluation of training for teachers and the assessment of students’ learning results. The author’s aim is to contribute to a deeper analysis of this complex subject thanks to the review of scientific literature and the description of a research-development experience conducted in the Lombardy area.
