In this article attention is focused on more than ninety letters exchanged (mostly from 1647 to 1699) between Pietro Francesco Passerini and Angelico Aprosio, and roughly ten exchanged Aprosio and Paolo Malaraggia (Passerini's best pupil), considering them as an important and detailed sourve of information about the relationship existing between high culture and the editorial market in Piacenza in the central decades of the seventeenth century, in an economic framework where printers considered the literary production only a subsidiary activity in comparison with the core business of the work made for ecclesiastic and state burocracy.

Abstract
In this article attention is focused on more than ninety letters exchanged (mostly from 1647 to 1699) between Pietro Francesco Passerini and Angelico Aprosio, and roughly ten exchanged Aprosio and Paolo Malaraggia (Passerini's best pupil), considering them as an important and detailed sourve of information about the relationship existing between high culture and the editorial market in Piacenza in the central decades of the seventeenth century, in an economic framework where printers considered the literary production only a subsidiary activity in comparison with the core business of the work made for ecclesiastic and state burocracy.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
