This article analyzes the observations that the Minister of Finance Paolo Ignazio Maria Thaon di Revel has done in 1937 to the Project of the second book of the Italian Civil Code (third book in the final version of the 1942). It is an unpublished document found in an archive. In it is revealed a sort of control by political exponent on the important Project. Revel is moved by scruples of statalism and dirigisme : he wants to defend the interests of the fascist state.
