Presentazione

This introduction explains the reasons that led to organize a two-day workshop on "Right patient, right place, right time. When and how to use the Emergency Department: Health Literacy, Decision-making and Communication" (Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Milan, April, 11-12, 2014); then briefly summarizes the contribution of the next forum, which aroused particular interest during the workshop.

Questa presentazione espone le ragioni che hanno portato a organizzare le due giornate di workshop su: "Il paziente giusto, nel posto giusto, al momento giusto. Come e quando utilizzare il Pronto Soccorso: Health Literacy, decisione e comunicazione" (Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milano, 11-12 aprile 2014); successivamente sintetizza brevemente gli interventi del forum, i quali rientrano nel novero delle relazioni che hanno suscitato particolare interesse durante il succitato evento.
