Carlo Angelici's A long review of an important book of Prof. Angelici’s, a Manifesto of his (and his followers) farewell to the traditional “contractual” and “institutional” dichotomy in the law of joint stock companies. After a very detailed presentation of the book, some critical remarks on the fundaments of Prof. Angelici’s attempt to dilute the role of the individual shareholders and to emphasize the concept of organization. The final result of this review is offering a new perspective of the classical discussion, through the introduction of the idea of “gaming” as one of the underlying principle of the law of corporation.
