This article describes an analysis of comparisons of equality in Céline’s Voyage au bout de la nuit. First, we focus on analyzing lexical and grammatical comparisons, then on animal comparisons. Our corpus was based on Frantext database. We isolated co-occurrences of human beings compared to other human beings and /or animals. Our results show the interest of studying comparison and its anthropological sense in Céline’s work.
