We present the LaTeX packages "esami" and "esami online" which extend some useful properties of some other LaTeX packages to produce databases of exercises in a collaborative way and to produce exams in written form or to be submitted online. We show also the server architecture for the maintainance of databases of students and results and the use of the exercises.
