In the first part the paper provides an interpretation of the Italian epistemic future within the framework of Congruity Theory (Rigotti, Rocci), and shows how it may indicate an argumentative connective predicate of conjectural conclusion. In the second part russian possible translation of the italian epistemic future are analyzed within the same framework. On this base it was possible to determinate quite subtile differences between italian epistemic future and adverbial russian markers of conjectural conclusion.

Abstract
