Fede e filosofia: esigenze e responsabilità

There is a common root between finitude and religion, between faith and reason, and it is the fundamental dimension of their established historicity. One can agree with the meaning of such dimension from every perspective, because it does not overlook the wholeness of experience. The judgment criterion of the latter is truth which stands out and which demands an answer from every single free human being, a mature and responsible decision.

Tra la finitezza e la religione, tra ragione e fede, si può trovare una radice comune nella dimensione fondamentale della loro storicità istituita. Questa dimensione esibisce un significato condivisibile da ogni prospettiva, perché non prescinde dall’integralità dell’esperienza, il cui criterio di giudizio è una verità che si pone e che sta, che esige nell’atto del suo donarsi la risposta libera dell’uomo singolo, una decisione matura e responsabile.
