This paper seeks to analyse data from interviews with science lecturers using English as a Medium of Instruction. Starting from theoretical underpinnings which consider the teaching of the language to be at the same level of the teaching of the subject, this study investigates whether or not these lecturers include the teaching (explicit or implicit) of the language as part of their jobs. It will also try to shed light on whether or not university professors see any difference between teaching in their native language or in an additional one.

Abstract
This paper seeks to analyse data from interviews with science lecturers using English as a Medium of Instruction. Starting from theoretical underpinnings which consider the teaching of the language to be at the same level of the teaching of the subject, this study investigates whether or not these lecturers include the teaching (explicit or implicit) of the language as part of their jobs. It will also try to shed light on whether or not university professors see any difference between teaching in their native language or in an additional one.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
