Amico della sapienza, amico del mondo

Philosophy has always been driven by the question «why», which has marked its history from the beginning until now. However, such question has slowly been transformed in a research about «where» the foundation and origin of man and the city where he lives come from. If we consider this point and the close connection between man and the place where his relationships are set, we will have to go beyond the acclaims of the post-modern age, where differences are absolutized, hence are isolated, with the claim to homologate them in an indistinct vagueness.

La filosofia caratterizzata dalla domanda sul perché, con cui è stata tracciata la sua storia dall’inizio al tempo presente, si è lentamente trasformata in una interrogazione sul “da che cosa” tragga origine e fondamento l’uomo e la città in cui vive. La riflessione su questo confronto stretto tra l’uomo e il luogo delle sue relazioni costringe a procedere oltre gli elogi di un’opinione pubblica incatenata alle proposte del post-moderno, dove le differenze vengono assolutizzate, e quindi isolate, con la pretesa poi di omologarle in una indistinta genericità.
