Social workers and caring professionals must face every day the emergences, needs and paradoxes of our society. Despite of every attempt to regulate it, their work is connected with individuality and unpredictability, therefore they have to adopt cognitive and emotional attitudes that allow them to tolerate uncertainty and learn from experience. This book testify that is possible to gain from lived experience a "situated knowledge", by documenting a one-year training course and action-learning with more than one hundred educators, social workers and health professionals.
