Abstract
The couple has accomplished, starting from the ’70s, a little revolution officially called “family transformation”, but really dealing with a transformation within the life-partner relationships and a new meaning of the marital bond. Is therefore currently the transition to a life to two a step towards the building of a new family or is it an alternative choice? We are witnessing a collective repression of the value and meaning of “being a couple” wich is increasingly confined in the private dimension, at the mercy of a liquidity of bonds which does not allow reflectiveness. The activity of counseling centers has furthermore contributed to this change, focusing the services offered on the person as an individual. Some trends (drastic reduction of births and increase in separations and divorces) leads the experts to focus their attention on new ways of supporting the couple’s relationship, considering the couple as a generative and supportive place. Is therefore given to couples an important role dealing with the prevention of primary networks fragmentation, and as a consequence, a role in the increase of life quality in social communities.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
