Quality for television is not essentially a matter of language or esthetics, but it is a matter of values, and of the educational impact that television always has, for good and bad. In this area tv fiction (tv movies, miniseries, series) are especially important, as story telling is the main way to convey values. In television it is crucial to be both rich in contents and simple. The alternative between a so called "pedagogical television" and "entertainment television" is false, as tv is always pedagogical, especially when it is entertaining.
