The paper analyzes the main changes occurring in the family field since 1960. It focuses in particular on the fragmentation of the new families (highlighting the differences in terms of composition, constraints, organizational charts) and the impact in the education of children. A further aspect of analysis is the process of democratization of family relationships, which presents new challenges in the training of parents, asking to rephrase the issue of normativity in education.
