Models which have been offered from the gerontology to explain the changes in gender role behavior in old age are "neuters". In the aging experience both women and men are said to undergo changes in their behavior. But the neutralization of gender differences is a normal part of the aging process? Neither sex is the final custodian of the qualities that we call "masculine" and "feminine." These qualities tend to be distributed not only by sex but by life period. The gender is a developmental process rather than a static category and gender transformation may unfold as an aspect of the aging process.

Abstract
Models which have been offered from the gerontology to explain the changes in gender role behavior in old age are "neuters". In the aging experience both women and men are said to undergo changes in their behavior. But the neutralization of gender differences is a normal part of the aging process? Neither sex is the final custodian of the qualities that we call "masculine" and "feminine." These qualities tend to be distributed not only by sex but by life period. The gender is a developmental process rather than a static category and gender transformation may unfold as an aspect of the aging process.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
