The article has for its object a comparison between some ideas about concupiscence present in the late Jewish 'Apocalypse of Moses' and the Gnostic'Apocalypse of Adam'. Such an analysis intends to offer a contribution to the thought about the relations between Judaism and Gnosticism as well and, more specifically, to the muchdebated question of the supposed dependence of the Gnostic apocalyptic literature on Jewish apocalyptic writings.
