The song to which the title refers is interested by an attributional problem that has been considered so far only partially: the chansonnier C gives it to the troubadour Guillem de Saint Gregori while E assigns it to Pons de la Guardia. The scholars who studied the text, however, did not consider a concurrent attribution found in the table of the ms. a (Gausbert de Poicibot). The paper deals with this attributional discordance for the first time and concludes that the paternity of Gausbert is, among the three, the most plausible. In the second part of the essay a crux is discussed: at line 10, in fact, according to the reconstruction of a previous editor, we could find one of the very few quotations of the figure of Homer – mentioned as the highest poetic authority – in troubadour lyric. The study of the question leads, nevertheless, to reject this hypothesis. At the end of the paper the song is published with translation and commentary.

Abstract
At the end of the paper the song is published with translation and commentary.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
