Castelseprio: indagini archeologiche presso la casa-forte (campagne 2021-2025)

This communication aims to provide a summary of the most relevant data emerging from the archaeological excavation campaigns conducted between 2021 and 2025 inside and in the area west of the fortified house in Castelseprio. It is now possible to identify the tower house’s foundation chronology, the organization of its interior space, the surrounding context and its evolution during the complex’s long life, and the activities prior to the construction of the mighty building.
