The spread of artificial intelligence systems, which today are entities with learned behavior and increasingly cognitively sophisticated, is prompting us to question the adequacy of our educational models. Starting from an analysis of the role of technical tools in education, the criticality is highlighted of an education only aimed at the transmission of contents and the use of tools, by proposing instead that the goal of teachers could be to contribute to developing students’ attitudes and culture through contents.

Abstract
The spread of artificial intelligence systems, which today are entities with learned behavior and increasingly cognitively sophisticated, is prompting us to question the adequacy of our educational models. Starting from an analysis of the role of technical tools in education, the criticality is highlighted of an education only aimed at the transmission of contents and the use of tools, by proposing instead that the goal of teachers could be to contribute to developing students’ attitudes and culture through contents.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
