In the city of Brescia, during the " Republican Triennio " (1796-1799), a very significant increase in publishing (books, catechisms, journals, brochures) occurred, whose study allows to have a clearer view of what the revolutionaries' goals were. Talking to the people and educate it to the democratic and republican ideals were considered as required tasks for the starting of a path towards the reviving of the Italian people and the birth of united Nation.
