The 22 surveyed works by Giovanni Pascoli (Myricae (1894); Myricae (1897); Lyra; Epos; Minerva oscura; Sotto il velame; Mirabile visione; In Or san Michele; Canti di Castelvecchio; Miei pensieri di varia umanità; Poemetti (1897); Primi poemetti; Poemi conviviali; Odi e inni; Pensieri e discorsi; Canzoni di re Enzio; Nuovi poemetti; Poemi italici; Poesie varie; Antico sempre nuovo; Poemetti (1900); Prose) have been cataloged according to a four-point protocol comprising: 1) bibliographic identification, entailing the retrieval of biographical data (names/pseudonyms) and bibliographic details of the princeps edition (in volume or periodical), alongside the indication of the reference critical edition; 2) taxonomic classification, involving categorization by literary genre (open structure) and the drafting of thematic abstracts focused on the representation of disability; 3) comparative lexical analysis, utilizing a double semantic tagging process that bridges historical vocabulary (the author’s original wording) with contemporary categories (current lexicon), thereby enabling a diachronic study of disability-related language; and 4) documentation, which includes supplementary notes (variants, awards, multimedia adaptations), links to digital resources, and the compiler's signature to ensure scientific traceability, resulting in a total of 61 compiled entries.
