The workshop related to the presentation ‘Prediction and revision in teaching and learning mathematics with digital tools’ proposed an activity on argumentation that allowed for both a didactic comparison and an in-depth examination of conceptual aspects, starting from an INVALSI question that presented a real problem and required the students to argue their answer. The teachers read and commented on a series of arguments, distinguishing those written by students from those produced by Artificial Intelligence, ranging from observations on the design of teaching interventions focused on argumentation.
