The focus is on Atistotle's "Metaphysics" XII, 6-10. The paper shows how Aristotle's "theology" of the Prime Mover has a frame of references to previous and contemporary "theological" positions, which show light on the discussed problem of the causality of the Prime Mover. Particular importance is recognized to the "theological" positions inspired to astronomy, that plaid an important role inside the debate between Plato, Aristotle and the Old Academy.

Abstract
The focus is on Atistotle's "Metaphysics" XII, 6-10. The paper shows how Aristotle's "theology" of the Prime Mover has a frame of references to previous and contemporary "theological" positions, which show light on the discussed problem of the causality of the Prime Mover. Particular importance is recognized to the "theological" positions inspired to astronomy, that plaid an important role inside the debate between Plato, Aristotle and the Old Academy.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
