This study presents the development and validation of a Family Impact Checklist, designed through the FamILens.COM research framework, as a tool to assess the impact of local social planning (Piani di Zona) on families in the Veneto Region. The checklist was developed and validated through a participatory process involving experts from the public sector, the Third sector, and family associations. Data collected through a survey administered to participants in the PdZ planning tables reveal that some aspects – such as participation and the recognition of family diversity – are positively evaluated, while others – such as family empowerment and the promotion of relational stability – emerge as more critical. The proposed tool serves as a transformative and reflective instrument to foster a family-focused welfare approach, guiding local planning and evaluation toward the enhancement of family relational well-being.

Abstract
This study presents the development and validation of a Family Impact Checklist, designed through the FamILens.COM research framework, as a tool to assess the impact of local social planning (Piani di Zona) on families in the Veneto Region. The checklist was developed and validated through a participatory process involving experts from the public sector, the Third sector, and family associations. Data collected through a survey administered to participants in the PdZ planning tables reveal that some aspects – such as participation and the recognition of family diversity – are positively evaluated, while others – such as family empowerment and the promotion of relational stability – emerge as more critical. The proposed tool serves as a transformative and reflective instrument to foster a family-focused welfare approach, guiding local planning and evaluation toward the enhancement of family relational well-being.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
