The article presents an innovative teaching experience that brought Education Science students into the settings of a Family Support Center, a Prison, and a Hospice, where lessons of Family Pedagogy were held. The experiment aimed to give substance to an idea of knowledge not as the assimilation of «the reports of studies made by others» (Dewey) but as an intersubjective, contextual, and dynamic construction, subject to uninterrupted structuring, deconstruction, and restructuring.
