Hope is an essential condition of human existence. It is rooted in trust since the very first stages of life and it represents an invaluable resource throughout the entire life span. Even in dramatic situations, hope allows people to overcome difficulties and to cope with suffering and deprivation. In contemporary society, young people are threatened by a sense of meaninglesness which can attempt to their well-being and mental health. Education can regenerate hope in their lives to the extent that it creates conditions for them to take the floor and to act meaningfully together.
