From a specific pedagogical perspective, this contribution aims to highlight the value of the concept of motherhood, understood as the ability to care for others, an expression of the ability to promote relationships for the common and social good. We are therefore talking about widespread motherhood. Our reflection is enriched by an exploration of African contexts, where the care inherent in widespread motherhood manifests itself through various practices and modalities.
