Dis-ability seems to relate to a lack, as if to signal the absence or deprivation of a lost fullness and perfection. In a time, like the present, where performance and the optimization of results are essential, perhaps it is this first connotation that needs to be rethought and rewritten in different terms, especially because, as is quite evident, there is no single way to manifest performance ability and, in fact, there are more our dis-abilities than skills and often both co-exist in the same person, so we can be very skilled in one thing and less skilled in another, so that there is only our fragile human, as the only real resource to draw on to be able to access and understand also the fragility of others.

Abstract
Dis-ability seems to relate to a lack, as if to signal the absence or deprivation of a lost fullness and perfection. In a time, like the present, where performance and the optimization of results are essential, perhaps it is this first connotation that needs to be rethought and rewritten in different terms, especially because, as is quite evident, there is no single way to manifest performance ability and, in fact, there are more our dis-abilities than skills and often both co-exist in the same person, so we can be very skilled in one thing and less skilled in another, so that there is only our fragile human, as the only real resource to draw on to be able to access and understand also the fragility of others.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
