Book Review. Internationalisation in Higher Education: Responding to New Opportunities and Challenges: Ten Years of Research by the Centre for Higher Education Internationalisation (CHEI)

The volume Internationalisation in Higher Education: Responding to New Opportunities and Challenges edited by Fiona Hunter, Ravichandran Ammigan, Hans de Wit, Jeanine Gregersen-Hermans, Elspeth Jones and Amanda Clare Murphy presents a comprehensive reflection on a decade of research undertaken by the Centre for Higher Education Internationalisation (CHEI). Established in 2012 at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan, CHEI has played a pivotal role in shaping research and practice in the field of internationalisation in higher education. By retracing the establishment, evolution and achievements of the CHEI as a transnational experiment in building a research community involving both practitioners and academics, this work illustrates the different strands of activity carried out by the Centre and reflects its decisive role in advancing knowledge and improving practice in an ever-growing range of topics on internationalisation of higher education.
