The wish for a theology capable of transdisciplinarity runs through the magisterium of Pope Francis, but it also represents an instance that, in our time, unites theological reason with other disciplines. Such an openness, however, raises unprecedented epistemological and practical questions: in order to give stability to transdisciplinary approaches, a confrontation capable of highlighting what interest moves theology and what specific contribution it offers in the encounter with other disciplines is necessary.

Abstract
The wish for a theology capable of transdisciplinarity runs through the magisterium of Pope Francis, but it also represents an instance that, in our time, unites theological reason with other disciplines. Such an openness, however, raises unprecedented epistemological and practical questions: in order to give stability to transdisciplinary approaches, a confrontation capable of highlighting what interest moves theology and what specific contribution it offers in the encounter with other disciplines is necessary.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
