The decay analysis of the Valcamonica petroglyphs through the methodology proposed by the “Risk Map” of the Cultural Heritage - In 1999 the Italian Istituto Centrale per il Restauro of the Ministry of Heritage and Cultural Activities created the “Risk Map”, an information system to support the activities of Institutes and State bodies responsible for protecting the cultural heritage. The author, being part of one of the group that catalogued cultural properties in Valcamonica (Brescia) during the year 2000, developed a system of decay analysis of the Valcamonica petroglyphs. The poster resumes some study examples of these catalogues in the rock art of Valcamonica
